Revolution!
There's a storm brewing, And you're the alchemist. In this game you play as a revolutionary trying to overthrow an evil tyrant, your goal is to drive up your reputation as well as your publicity, and collect money to fund the end of the monarchy. But watch out, there are spies and traitors collecting intel on you, reporting back to the king.
Basic Controls: Drag and drop blue “people cards” onto green “task cards”; to remove tasks, drag and drop them into the “Trash Plan”. The 3 yellow bars in the bottom left of the people cards determine their rank in your revolution, to increase this, assign them to the “Promote Person” task. To gather more people, you need to assign people cards to “Recruit People”. To… remove people from the cause, assign them to the “Kill Person” card.
TL;DR: You gain money by working day jobs, this helps fund everything else. You can spend this money on protests and the main revolt. Your ending is decided on how much money you have, your reputation, and your publicity. To recruit more people to your cause, assign a rank 2 (yellow bars in the bottom left of a person card) person card to gather more people, but watch out, spies will try to infiltrate you. Spies are disguised as normal people cards and report back to the authority at the end of a day (seen in the top left), the higher rank they have the more intel they report back; it is best to limit your recruits due to them. If you suspect someone of being a spy you can send them to the “Kill Person” task and have them… removed. To rank a card up, assign them to the “Promote Person” task. To gather more task cards, you have a level 3 rank person work on the “Make Plan” task. Once you feel like your victory is assured, hold down the “Revolution” button on the right; and see your victory screen.
Publicity: Publicity is a doubled edged sword; the higher it is, the more intel the tyrant gets, but also it is needed for the end goal. The way you raise publicity and rep is to run protests, there are 2 kinds: the peaceful type, and the violent type. Peaceful protests will raise your publicity, and may get you a new recruit. Violent protests will either raise your rep a lot, or lower it; 50-50 chance.
Intel may seem enigmatic, but there is a method to its shifty shadows. At midnight, you get a report of your gain in publicity, and how much intel spies have gathered. Once your “Authority Intel” reaches Max, the game is lost; and you are sent to the chopping block.
